Clara not only likes pirates but is babysitting a pirate ship yacht christened, the Pirate Lady, for the record company, High Seas. While the crew is off celebrating the Holiday’s with their friends and family, Clara is spending Christmas Eve alone on the ship. Enjoying a break from the sexual banters of businessmen and musicians, Clara recalls a peaceful memory from her past – a memory of her and her mother making gingerbread houses. Feeling sorrowful, Clara tracks into town and buys the last remaining ingredients to make her own gingerbread house. But when she returns to the ship she is greeted by a handsome man, Jack, who happens to be a musician, and Clara has sworn off any relations with musicians.

Will the magic of Christmas bring Clara and Jack together for more than a one-night-stand? Or will Clara make the same choice her mother made all those years ago when she fell in love?

Pirate Lady Holiday is a fantastic, quick read. As soon as I finished the first chapter I was hooked. The Author, Kate Richards, did a marvelous job creating and developing the characters in such a short time frame, and in a way the reader becomes immediately attached. The story line was spot on and the scenes read fluidly, so fluidly I forgot I was actually reading… LOL. The only problem with Pirate Lady is that I was disappointed it ended. I wanted to know more about Clara and Jack… (pout). All in all, well done Kate!

I'm so glad you liked them. And sorry it was so short, it's a fault I hope to correct with a further story of their adventures in future, I want to know what happens too.
