Five months ago, Carol was bitten by a red lupus garou, turning her into a were-wolf. So far, she’s been able to hold back the shift because of her physic abilities. Now Carol is subjected to live in the house with an alpha gray lupus garou and his mate and brothers until she gains control over her new form. Darien and his pack keep a watchful eye over her, making sure Carol does not reveal what they truly are to the humans or cause any kind of destruction with her newfound abilities.

The tension rises when Darien insists that Carol choose a mate from the many available bachelors in his pack, but Carol is intrigued with only one alpha who is a true match for her, Detective Ryan McKinley. Ryan is an alpha gray lupus garou from another pack that wants to continue his investigation with Carol and questions her physic abilities. From the moment Carol and Ryan laid eyes on each other, the connection between the two escalates into burning desire, but soon dwindles each time Carol remembers Ryan does not believe in her paranormal abilities, which usually warns of impending doom.

Carol’s visions are warning her that her pack members could be in danger of shifting and not being able to shift back to their human selves. Leaving Carol helpless to solve the problem; not only that, her vision’s are foretelling she could be the target of a renegade pack of red lupus garous, who want to kidnap her and claim her for themselves. Ryan is going to have to man-up to his obsession with Carol and claim her for his mate before another rival does and what-ever is affecting Darien’s pack transforms them all into wolves forever. Can Carol and Ryan work together to solve the mysterious visions haunting Carol? Or, will their pack be doomed to roam the earth as humans trapped in their wolf forms?

Wolf Fever is a sizzling hot read! Every page radiates with action, romance, mystery, and suspense. Terry Spear is an expert in her field of writing, storytelling, and creativity.  The characters are vividly expressed, grabbing the reader from the start and the plot (I don’t know how Terry comes up with these great tales) is spot-on throughout the entire read. Thank you, Terry Spear, for once again ensnaring me with one of your books. Wolf Fever is highly recommended to anyone who loves shape shifters (the were-wolf kind) and lots of sultry romance. . YUM! =)

Cassie Roux is an extremely dedicated Wolf Biologist. Her one and only goal, is to complete her job by finding the lupus red wolves, and protecting them from hunters, to secure their survival in the wild. However, being a lupus garou herself, a royal red wolf shifter, Cassie soon finds out it’s not only the Hunters hunting her, but an alpha pack leader, Leidolf, that wants to claim her as his mate.

Leidolf Wildhaven has become the alpha pack leader to a mistreated and dysfunctional pack of lupus garous. After being a loner for so long, Leidolf realizes how exhausting it is to keep up with all the riffraff of managing a pack, and truly wants to settle down with a mate of his own. On a trip to Portland, Leidolf is sent to retrieve the lecturer of the seminar he is attending, and that’s when he falls for the lovely and regal, Cassie Roux. Not knowing she is one of his kind, he tries to woo her for a seductive night of passion, but then his whole world is turned upside down when he becomes aware of the fact she is a female lupus garou. Leidolf is bent on protecting her from herself, as well as others out to harm her, and the ones she cares most about.

Cassie is still blaming herself for the loss of her family by hunters, but she needs to come to terms with the fact it wasn’t her fault in order to give herself completely to Leidolf. Will Leidolf be able to triumph over Cassie’s fears or will he become the next target of the hunt?

Terry Spear really knows how to ensnare her readers! Seduced by the Wolf has everything a paranormal romance reader wants; sensualness, adventure, excitement, are just a few words to describe this well rounded story. Spear has effectively incorporated lifelike emotions with her characters, as well as an impressive display of character development. The sexual tension between Cassie and Leidolf is maddening and I felt myself cheering for Leidolf by wanting Cassie to come to her senses and take him for her mate. Spear has not yet disappointed me in a story that she has wrote. I do and will recommend this book to all.

As a professional photographer, Tessa Anderson is obsessed with photographing wolves. When a raging wildfire is reported in California, Tessa braves the fiery inferno to photograph nature during one of its deadliest moments. Everything was going smoothly until she’s attacked by an enraged wolf. Barely escaping the terrifying encounter, she notices the wolf’s unusual behavior, it seemed different compared to others of its kind, but being pressed for time, she considered the animal rabid. The only thing on Tessa’s mind is hiring a private investigator to get her brother, Michael, out of jail for a murder he did not commit. When she stumbles upon an unconscious, GOD-like hunk of a man, lying naked on the beach, her life begins to make a turn for the worst. Not only does the strange man, Hunter, have amnesia, but Tessa has a stalker that’s breaking into her house and her electricity is out, due to the oncoming of an ice storm.
Hunter is Alpha of a pack of shape shifting grey werewolves. He and his twin sister are in the process of evacuating California due to the wildfire. In hopes of reuniting with the rest of their pack members, Hunter and his obstinate sister, Meara, relocate to their Uncle’s house in Oregon.  Before their Uncle retires to Florida, leaving them the house, he warns Hunter of the nosey neighbor, Tessa Anderson, who likes to roam around their property taking pictures and the potential danger of revealing what they are. After Hunter scents several male werewolves in the area, he returns home to find that his sister has been kidnapped and his attempt at saving her has literally lead him off a cliff.
Now in the arms of a beautiful redhead, Hunter is only aware of his werewolf abilities and his promise to help Tessa solve her brother’s case, proving that Michael is innocent, As their growing attraction develops, Tessa‘s fear of Hunter leaving increases, but without his protection she would become the stalker’s next victim. Will Hunter be able to regain his memory, before his sister and the woman he loves is claimed by another?
To Tempt the Wolf is an extremely enjoyable and fascinating read. I am impressed with the way Spears has added her own unique twist, mixing it into the realm of shape shifters. She has successfully achieved creating a story that the reader will become absorbed in. The characters are wrote exuding life-like characteristics, the background is full of vivid description, making it easy for the reader to visualize and the plot was perfectly blended, keeping the reader guessing till the end.  I am left satisfied and anticipate Terry Spears next book. This book is recommended to any readers who have a taste for the Paranormal, Supernatural, Shape Shifter and Romance genres.
